In 1961, Craig Drake leased a small workshop in Philadelphia and began crafting his own
line of silver jewelry. In that first year Craig's total sales were a mere $1800.
In the next year sales were not much better and Craig considered canceling his lease.
He stuck it out however and was rewarded with a small order from a famous jewelry
store that placed his pieces in their store and in some of their advertisements.
Before long Craig had orders for $50,000 worth of his work.
From these humble beginnings, Craig Drake Manufacturing was born and evolved into its
status today as one of the premier jewelry manufacturers in the world
- expanding from silver to 18k gold and platinum.
